AOOP's 10th Annual Conference offers cutting-edge information for clinicians with experience as well as a basic skills workshop for those who wish to explore occupational and organizational psychiatry.

ACOEM designates the Basic Skills Workshop for 4.5 Category 1 hours, the Psychoanalytic Workshop for 2.5 Category 1 hours, and the Conference Saturday and Sunday for 10 Category 1 hours toward the Physician's Recognition Award of the AMA.

All registrations must be accompanied by payment.

Member rates for registration are offered only to current members of AOOP.

If you would like a confirmation of your registration, include a self-addressed, stamped postcard or envelope with your registration. Receipts will be available at the meeting registration desk.

Registrations postmarked after Dec. 15, 1998 are not eligible for the reduced registration fee and will be invoiced for the additional amount, payable upon receipt at the registration desk.

Please attach a note to your registration form if you require special accommodations or have special dietary needs.

Refund and Cancellation Policies

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Written cancellations before Dec. 30, 1998 are subject to a $50 processing fee.

Refunds are not possible after Dec. 30, 1998 except for emergencies.

All refunds will be processed after the meeting.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the Joint Sponsorship of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and the Academy of Organizational and Occupational Psychiatry (AOOP). ACOEM is accredited by the ACCME to provide CME for physicians. ACOEM designates the Basic Skills Workshop for 4.5 Category 1 hours, the Psychoanalytic Case Discussion for 2.5 Category 1 hours, and the Main Conference for 10 Category 1 hours toward the Physician's Recognition Award of the AMA. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Travel Information

For the AOOP meeting we have arranged discounted fares on US Airways and United Airlines through Diplomat Travel, 800 826-0888. Washington DC is serviced by 3 airports: Ronald Reagan National Airport, Dulles Airport and Baltimore Washington Airport. For ground transportation, Super Shuttles run between these 3 airports and downtown DC; 202 562-1234. Alternatively, a taxi to the hotel costs approximately $40 from BWI or Dulles and $15 from National. If you fly into National, you can also use the high quality Metrorail system. For Metro, take either the Blue or the Yellow Line and switch to the Red Line (at Metro Center Station if using the Blue Line, or at the Gallery Place Station if using the Yellow Line). Get off the Red Line at the Farragut North Metro stop, and use the L Street exit. The hotel will be directly to your right.
