Speakers' Bureau

The Speakers' Directory will publicize that AOOP members will be available to speak on mental health workplace topics. Standard topics include depression and substance abuse in the workplace, violence in the workplace, fitness for duty evaluations, executive training, evaluations and coaching, organizational development and others.

To participate in the Speakers Bureau, you must be a current member of AOOP.

Successful public speaking experience is important. Generally, speakers should be prepared to talk for 35-40 minutes and to answer questions for another 20 minutes. SHRM has requested that speakers follow AOOP outlines for the standard topics to ensure uniform content. These outlines may be obtained from our headquarters.
